Can the metadata be faked?▼
Technically, any data can be edited. But faking GPS and timestamp together in a way that holds up to scrutiny is very hard. If you fake the GPS, the timestamp looks suspicious. If you fake the timestamp, the GPS looks wrong. Combined, they're nearly impossible to forge convincingly.
